He University "Ophthalmic Biopharmaceuticals Research Center" is mainly engaged in the development and transfer of new biopharmaceuticals, health products, cosmetics and health food related to ophthalmology.

At present, the research center has many departments, such as natural medicine laboratory, pharmacology and pathology laboratory, pharmaceutical laboratory, cell and molecular biology laboratory, plant fermentation laboratory, biomaterials and tissue engineering laboratory and so on. At present, the the laboratory takes more than 2,000 square meters, and the total value of instruments and equipment is more than 1,000 yuan. 

Since its establishment, the center has established extensive cooperative relations with drug research and development institutions at home and abroad, undertaken nearly 20 scientific research projects, won more than 6,000 yuan in scientific research funds, and won more than 30 national patents.
