Yao Tao has followed the academician Xie Lixin, an internationally renowned ophthalmologist, to study the diagnosis and treatment of corneal disease and corneal transplantation, and has ever been directed by the director of the Moran Eye Center and the director of the Valley Eye Center. He obtained many national patents.
Speciality: drug treatment and surgical treatment of various ocular surface diseases and corneal diseases. He is especially good at various corneal transplant operations, and created many new types of surgical methods such as “bulb” and “vesicle” technology for lamellar corneal transplantation and drug injection of stromal layer. He has been selected to participate in international ophthalmology conferences in the United States, Japan and other countries for many times, and and gave lectures thereon. He is one of the keratopathy experts who started the corneal endothelial transplantation.
